Description
A French mid-century lariat (sometimes called a cravat necklace) and oh, the craftsmanship. Three rows of closely articulated yellow gold links lie flat and smooth around the neck, then pass beneath a richly hued emerald in a simple claw setting. Two diamond-set spacers add a little sparkle at the ends.
These were having a real moment in 1940s and 50s France, when jewelers loved supple gold, strong shapes and a pop of color. This one is flexible, beautifully balanced and SO comfortable to wear.
