Description
A very special, ultra-rare find: a vanity case from Cartier’s legendary “Tutti Frutti” world. Black enamel, glowing rose gold and, of course, those iconic carved gemstones – here a sapphire leaf and a ruby flower bud, classic Tutti Frutti motifs.
It even comes in its original fitted Cartier box with its original Cartier-stamped puff, and it’s in exceptional condition. A dream for any serious Cartier collector.
A little Tutti Frutti history: in the 1920s, Cartier started pairing crisp Art Deco geometry with carved rubies, sapphires and emeralds inspired by Indian jewelry. Its first foliate bracelet in the style arrived in 1925, though the playful “Tutti Frutti” nickname didn’t really catch on until the 1970s. Today these are some of the most coveted Cartier pieces out there.
