She’s a 4.37ct antique old mine cut, GIA M SI1, with chunky facets that lean a little old European – a hint she was cut during the transition between the two styles. Her soft, slightly elongated shape and 57% depth mean she faces up closer to a 5ct. Bright, lively and 100% eye clean (we’d never guess her specs by looking).

We’d been saving this two-tone antique setting of 18kt yellow gold and platinum for a diamond this special, and wow, do they sing together. Intricate, romantic gallery details from every angle. Bold, rare and downright beautiful.
