We were first presented with this stone during our last buying trip. This diamond has lived many, many decades set upside down in a masonic brooch. I wish I could show a photo of this brooch but it was melted down for scrap way before I acquired this diamond.

I just adore everything about her history and only wish that she can share the stories she has heard and seen. And of course, about that gentleman who owned and wore her, presumably, for decades.

The make and faceting is pretty unique too (which is what intrigued me) – it shows me hints of peruzzi, cushion, and step cuts too! What a gorgeous piece of jewelry she would make!
