Description
One of the prettiest bracelets to have landed in our laps of late – talk about a match made in jewelry heaven! East meets West: carved jadeite leaves right alongside hand-cut antique diamonds, joined in a flexible, foliate design. The diamonds are set in silver (an old-school trick to make them pop, thank you very much), with 18K yellow gold on the back. A very, very special piece.
Carved jade had its big moment in Western jewelry around the turn of the 20th century, and in Chinese culture it has long been the good-luck stone, tied to prosperity, harmony and protection. Those leafy shapes are all about growth and fresh starts, which feels just right for a bracelet this happy.
The colors are even more vibrant in person (the photos truly don’t do it justice), the silver has that dreamy, soft patina only age can give, and it’s finished with an engraved gold clasp and a safety chain.
