Description
A charming and unusual Georgian watch key, probably English, shaped like a finely detailed gloved hand holding a coral orb between two fingers. Coral was traditionally worn as a protective amulet and the gloved hand was a favorite symbol of the day, so this little guy is basically a lucky charm with a day job.
Back when watches had to be wound with a key, this was purely practical. Today it makes the most wonderful pendant. Tested at 14-15 karat gold, and super charming strung on a longer chain!
