Well, back in the Victorian times, they were used to hold undergarments in place (the horror and shame of having one’s brassiere peeking out!), and sometimes even scarves and the like. Always decorative in styling, they often had small gemstones, pearls and other decorative accents. But of course, if your lingerie pins are from Tiffany & Co, they’d have diamonds! These are very special – a set of 5 pins in onyx, and set with the prettiest old European cut diamonds, with a known weight of 1.42ctw. And the best and most charming part? They came to us in their original Tiffany & Co box!

And while one would not have much use for them as lingerie pins anymore, they still serve many practical uses – use them on scarves, lapels, pockets or even use them as chain extenders. A great and charming addition to one’s jewelry collection.
