Description
Some love notes never go out of style. Back in the early 1900s, French jeweler Alphonse Augis turned a line from the 1889 poem “L’éternelle chanson” into one of the most beloved love tokens ever: “Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain” – today more than yesterday, and much less than tomorrow. His “+ qu’hier – que demain” medallions are now some of the most collectible sentimental pieces out there.
This one is the Italian version, made by the famed Italian maker Uno A Erre. “Di Ieri, Di Domani” means “of yesterday, of tomorrow,” the same sweet sentiment in Italian, and we don’t come across this iteration very often! Simple in make with a slightly textured background, so the message is the absolute star. A perfect gift for your forever person (or yourself).
